Teresa Ferlito of Oswego Health has been recognized by NY state elected representatives for her dedicated service as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Vice President (VP) of Springside at Seneca Hill.
Assembly members Robert Oaks and Will Barclay, along with Senator Patty Ritchie, formally presented Ferlito with a state legislative resolution.
Among other members present were Oswego Health President and CEO Chuck Gijanto, Oswego Health Vice President for Communication and Government Affairs Jeff Coakley and Oswego Health Board Treasurer Mark Slayton.
The presentation was organized on Sept. 23 at Senator Ritchie’s senior health and wellness fair, according to Oswego County Today.

The Senate and the State Assembly officially adopted the resolution in May.
~ Ferlito, who was present during the presentation of resolution, accompanied by her husband Mike, said that it was “quite an honor recognized by Senator Ritchie and Assemblyman Barclay with the presentation of this legislative resolution.“
She continued saying that serving in Springside was her passion, and she was thankful to Senator Ritchie, the Assemblymen, her friends and her colleagues for their support in Springside community.
While making the presentation, Assembly member Barclay said that Ferlito was an integral part of Springside since its beginning. Her compassion has been evident in her works and the caring relationship she has forged with the residents and their families.
Senator Ritchie also had his fair share of praise for Ferlito. He said that Ferlito was a “shining example” of someone who is passionate with her career and it has been an honor to recognize Ferlito for her dedication towards the community.
