Fall is finally here. The air is crisp and the leaves are turning which means it’s time for the Rochester, New Hampshire Fall Senior Health and Wellness Expo. The expo is designed for seniors, their family members and senior care givers in the Rochester and surrounding areas. It is hosted by The Homemakers Health Services and Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

The expo will take place on Friday, October 23rd from 9a-1p at the American Legion Hall at 94 Eastern Ave. in Rochester.

This years expo will have a Halloween theme and feature a free breakfast and lunch. There will also be free giveaways and raffles.

This opportunity makes it possible to educate seniors, their families and caregivers about the compassionate care and medical expertise of our Geriatric Psychiatry program as well as other community programs and services available.

~ Judy Ouellette, executive director of fund development and community relations at Frisbie Memorial Hospital

There will be over over 60 local senior resources on hand as well as a variety of vendors giving away health screenings throughout the day. These screenings will include blood pressure, balance and hearing tests. You will also be able to look over vendors that deal with financial planning, hearing/vision and assisted living.
