Founded in 1819, Bennettsville, South Carolina was named after the governor of South Carolina Thomas Bennett. Historically here at the city cotton was produced, but after slavery cancellation the economy here collapsed. Later the city started to grow and because an attraction to the tourists. Right now assisted living here became available for older adults.
